The volcanic ashes from Chile are not affecting flights in and out of Rio de Janeiro at all, and there should be no disruption of conference attendees' travel.
But people flying from or to southern areas may be affected it´s better to check with the airline company before travelling.
On June 25th at 4 P.M. PAHO/WHO will launch the Pan American Network for Health Technology Assessment REDETSA at Hotel Intercontinental, Rio de Janeiro, as part of the Pre-Conference activities at HTAi 2011.
